Spring into Break!

We all know spring break was enjoyed by SLA students this week, and  many are excited for this break off from school: but what did everyone have planned for their break? If you’re looking to make the most out of your last few days of freedom, here are some suggestions from yours truly.

- Hiking -

There are many hiking trails in the state of Massachusetts. One recommended trail is the ‘Blue Hill Reservation‘. It’s ten miles south of Boston and about 4.5 miles long. You can view many beautiful sites of the world, and enjoy Gods’ great creation. You can also go to man other hiking trails, or go on long walks if your not the hiking type.

- Family Day Trips -

For fun with the family, you can go on day trips to Kittery, Maine and go shopping. You can also go to New Hampshire and see the White Mountains, with its breath-taking views and multiple outdoor activities. Also you can go on a day trip to Cape Cod. All these places I have mentioned, I have been before. These places are very beautiful and a fun way to bond with your family.

- Hanging with Friends -

If you want to hang with friends, you can go to the Natick Mall, or out for pizza, and maybe to the movies. You can have sleepovers or just hang around at your friends house.

- Exercise –

If you want to get into shape, a week off of school is a great time to start. You can start making up a work-outs to keep your body in shape. You can come up with fun easy ways to work-out. Such as: Biking, walking, playing on Kinect, or playing sports with friends.

I went around my school and asked students what they plan on doing for spring break, about 15 kids said they were going to hang with friends or play video games, 5 kids said they were going to do nothing, and 3 kids say they are planning to go on vacation.
